A darling of the services she has been the voice at many shows of the forces where she has won the hearts of our gallant soldiers all over the country by not only singing for them but touching their lives by working passionately for the empowerment of widows of the forces. A trained classical singer this versatile artist can move seamlessly from rock to rap to pop music.

Tanya Gupta, is a talented and versatile singer. It was her sincerity and dedication, which helped her carve a niche for herself in the world of music and which is helping her in realizing her dreams.
With such extreme hard work and passionate dedication she has not only earned name for herself, but for her State in several competitions and her Motherland at the closing ceremony of the Asian Games held in China, biggest extravaganza ever in history of events, with a world record audience of over 600,000 present at the performance and several millions watching on their television screens.
Tanya hails from a well known medical and teaching family. She was introduced to the world of music at an early age. Trained in Hindustani Vocal Classical for 15 years, she belongs to Kirana Gharana ,received training in all aspects of Classical music Dhrupad, Dhamar, Khayal, Thumri, Bhajns and other nuances of music, Post Graduate in Music from one of the biggest institutes of India and national scholarship holder, a gold medallist, swaran gaeeka awadee, All India Gupta Community awarded her as the best singer, performed in Global Village Dubai,Asian business awards Emirates Palace Abu dhabi ,May Queen Ball Beauty Pagent , Asia Pacific Entrepreneur, Navy Bowl Delhi and Vishakpatnam, HT Youth nexus and many more. Worked very closely with the armed forces pan India,in the recent months, have done 5 shows for the Indian Navy. Worked in various projects for women empowerment one of which was Karukaraya an outreach programme run by the navy. Her talent was further nurtured by her Guru’s and ‘ustads’. She had won several awards in various competitions both nationally and internationally. It was her sincerity and dedication to music that convinced world-renowned and iconic singers such as Suresh Wadker ji and Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan to accept her as their ‘shishya’ under whose guidance she was trained for many years. She was in teacher’s guest faculty for Film and Music Academy in Dubai. She has also worked in various Bollywood projects, such as the “top ten” chart buster Sony BMG album ‘Chahat’”. Worked with the the most renowned music directors and performed with all lead singers of Bollywood like Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Roop Kumar Rathore, Salim Merchants, Ghulam Ali Khan, Shobha Mudgal, Hariharan, Shafkaat, Mohit Chowhan. Being a theatre performer as well,she has participated in several theatre festivals including NSD, Nandikaar etc. Her singing was acknowledged and appreciated by great icons of music like Farida khannum,ghulam ali and many more. She has been interviewed by several publications and appeared on NDTV,CNN IBN,TIMES NOW, INDIA TV etc. Tanya’s various performances in India as well abroad have won her the love and appreciation.
